New Year, New Studio

After being away for almost 25 years, I returned to CA, my home state. It was hard to leave the swamps and scrubs of FL and all of my amazing friends.

We made a 2600-mile cross country road trip, stopping along the way to take in some sites, coffee and beignets in New Orleans, Red Rocks Canyon State Park, OK, hiking in Northern AZ, and day tripping in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. A fabulous way to see the country.
Florida to California
Now I start the new year in a new studio at Studio Channel Islands, a wonderful artists’ community. New projects include a series of desert wildflowers and explorations of West Coast habitats, deserts, coastal scrub, mountains, and wetlands.
Studio Channel Islands is a community of 40 artists-in-residence. The first Saturday of each month is Open Studio Day. Visit me in Studio A2 on first Saturdays or message me for an appointment.
